Choosing to complete your college degree as a working adult is a big decision. We want to make the application process as easy as possible so Centenary University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) enrollment counselors are ready to take you through the entire process — from application to enrollment.
We also strongly suggest scheduling a personal interview to ensure that our program and your career and academic goals are a great match.
Students seeking admission to the School of Professional Studies must be graduates of an accredited high school or preparatory secondary school, or the equivalent. In addition to completing our application, you must:
- Submit an official transcript from all schools attended.
- Submit an essay/personal statement.
- Be at least 20 years old with at least one year of work experience.
Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to show a score of 550 or higher on a TOEFL examination taken within the last five years or a satisfactory score on the Global English placement assessment.
Admissions Requirements for MBA degree
To apply for our accelerated Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, we require a bachelor’s degree including completion of undergraduate courses in economics, statistics and accounting with a grade of “B” or better. If those courses have not been completed, they will be required in addition to your graduate courses. You will also need:
- Original transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- A personal statement.
- No GRE/GMAT is required.
Centenary’s MBA program also offers provisional admission to students whose credentials alone do not match our qualifications for admission. These students may register for the normal course load and, during the first two courses, must prove their commitment to success.
