Centenary University’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Accounting program is designed for working adults looking for a strong focus in professional accounting with a broad educational foundation in business.

Our accelerated accounting degree program is organized into three parts:

• Accounting major courses
• Liberal arts and free electives

The curriculum includes courses in principles of accounting, cost accounting, intermediate accounting, auditing, taxation, business ethics, and business law. It also gives you the flexibility to explore topics related to business administration such as economics, management, and marketing.

Maximum Flexibility

Centenary’s Accounting program allows you to conveniently complete each 8-week course, one at a time, before moving on to the next. It takes roughly two years to complete your degree, depending on the number of credits you transfer into Centenary, and how many courses you take at a time.

Like all of Centenary’s accelerated adult programs, our Bachelor of Science in Accounting can be completed in three convenient formats:

• In-class at our learning center in Parsippany
• Completely online
• A blend of both formats in a single class

Upon completion of our accelerated accounting degree, motivated students can take additional classes to get to 150 credits, which will complete the requirements for the CPA licensure. Students will then be ready to prepare to sit for the CPA and/or advance in an accounting/business-related profession.
